Benefits of the Ropeway for Devotees

The key benefit of the Khole Ke Hanumanji Ropeway is that devotees will no longer need to climb 121 stairs between the two temples. This is especially advantageous for elderly citizens, children, and disabled persons.

For additional safety, full-body harnesses are mandated for all passengers. The ropeway also underwent extensive testing and trials before being opened to the public.

The construction company ROK Innovation conducted safety certifications in multiple phases. First, they ran trials for 5 hours daily by loading the cabins with 480 kg weights.

After successful weight trials, ROK Innovation moved to daily Human trials starting September 15. The Public Works Department issued the final safety certificate after assessing the ropeway’s maximum capacity, stability, and efficiency through these rigorous trials.

As per the company, the ropeway will undergo scheduled safety checks every three months. Annual renewal of registration will also be required after expert inspections.

The ropeway staff will be comprehensively trained in emergency procedures and safety protocols. Fire safety equipment has been provisioned at both stations. CCTV cameras will provide live monitoring across the ropeway route. The ropeway also has several conveniences built-in for an enjoyable ride. Passengers will be treated to a bird’s eye panorama of Jaipur midway during a 37-second stop. The cabins feature large windows spanning all sides to maximize the views.
